RedBrick's Charity Café to benefit American Heart Assoc.

PALMDALE, Calif. — RedBrick Pizza Worldwide and its participating franchises throughout the United States and Canada are sponsoring a nationwide "Go Red" Charity Cafe campaign this summer. The campaign is designed to help raise awareness and reduce the occurrence of heart disease and strokes.
Starting June 15 and running through Sept. 15, 2008, a portion of all RedBrick sales on Tuesday nights will be donated to the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" campaign.
"Heart problems are perceived of as a man's ailment," said Lynn Minidis, co-founder of RedBrick Pizza Worldwide. "The fact is that heart disease is the number one killer of women in the U.S. today."
The "Go Red for Women" program was designed by the American Heart Association to heighten awareness of the number one killer of women in the United States and the steps people can take to reduce their risk of heart disease.
