Restaurant SmartBrief relaunches with NRA partnership
The National Restaurant Association has announced a partnership with digital publisher SmartBrief Inc. to relaunch the daily Restaurant SmartBrief e-newsletter.
With this agreement, Restaurant SmartBrief, originally launched in 2001, will continue to include curated summaries of restaurant industry and public policy news that impacts restaurant and foodservice operations, but it will now be published in partnership with the NRA.
"We are excited to offer Restaurant SmartBrief and draw on the high-quality resources of the SmartBrief team," said Scott DeFife, executive vice president, Policy and Government Affairs, NRA. "Restaurant SmartBrief will allow us to reach a large audience of industry and business stakeholders, providing timely news and additional special reports on top issues for the foodservice industry."
The newly re-launched Restaurant SmartBrief is a daily resource delivered via e-mail. Drawn from multiple resources worldwide, the Restaurant SmartBrief collects the latest food trends, menu options, best practices, news and job listings for restaurant owners, franchisees, chefs, managers and foodservice professionals.
The NRA supports nearly 500,000 restaurant businesses. According to a news release, the new Restaurant SmartBrief adds to the NRA's tools and resources to help its members improve their profitability.
