Connecticut-based Riko's Pizza has launched five chicken-forward, limited-time menu offerings under the name Pollo di Buon Gusto. The items are available at all Riko's locations through Sept. 30, according to a press release.
The temporary additions include two specialty pizzas, two new wing flavors and a chicken slider:
Chicken Sausage Florentine Pizza: Thin crust topped with spinach, chicken sausage, spicy sausage, red onions, mozzarella blend, parmesan cheese and an olive oil drizzle.
Chicken and Pesto Pizza: Thin crust with nut-free pesto, parmesan, mozzarella, chicken sausage, ricotta, grape tomatoes and fresh basil.
Lemon Pepper Wings: Crispy wings tossed in a lemon pepper dry rub.
Thai Chili Pepper Wings: Wings tossed in a sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce with garlic.
Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Slider: Grilled chicken dipped in Riko's Sauce, topped with bacon, cheese and ranch on a toasted pretzel bun.
Carl Bachmann, president and CEO of Riko's Pizza, said the culinary team paired protein options with fresh ingredients to create a lineup suitable for multiple dining occasions.
