Rock & Roll Hall of Fame chair takes seat at Yum Brands board
Former Sherwin-Williams Company Executive Chairman Christopher M. Connor is taking a seat at Yum Brands' Board of Directors' table, according to a news release. He served in the Sherwin-Williams role until last year and is also chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and serves on the Eaton Corporation board as well.
"Chris is a talented and seasoned retail veteran who led Sherwin-Williams for many years," Yum CEO Greg Creed, said in a news release. "We look forward to the experience and insights he will bring as we execute our multi-year strategy to become a more focused, more franchised and more efficient company with a uniquely powerful and predictable free cash flow growth profile."
Last year Yum completed its separation from Yum China and launched a new multi-year strategic transformation plan that supports franchise growth and efficiency at the company's three brands of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
