Russo’s New York Pizzeria plans UAE expansion

Russo's New York Pizzeria and Russo's Coal Fired Italian Kitchen are planning an expansion in the United Arab Emirates region, having awarded rights to Dubai-based Prime Hospitality for the development of new units within the next 10 years.

According to Arabian Business, the agreements signed should bring the total Russo's Restaurants' presence in the Gulf region to 26 units.

The first Russo's, which is owned by Anthony Russo, is expected to open in Dubai and Abu Dhabi by the end of 2011.

Prime Hospitality is a division of Ghobash Trading and Investment Company.
