The Advertiser: Some Bendigo, Australia, pizza outlets are finding it tough to recruit drivers because of the job's occasional danger.
Domino's Pizza Kangaroo Flat manager Shane Mulqueen said he was aware of about a dozen attacks on pizza delivery drivers in the past 12 months.
"It's not the sort of job a lot of people look for," Mulqueen said. "The pay is nothing special and the risks also make it a lot harder (to recruit drivers)."
Mulqueen knows of drivers who've been jumped while delivering to non-existent addresses, and he sees other drivers leave the industry because of such threats.
