Salmonella outbreak not yet solved

Google/Associated Press: The nationwide salmonella outbreak linked first to tomatoes and then jalapenos is finally winding down, but federal health officials have yet to determine how the few tainted Mexican peppers they've found lead to such widespread illness.
The agency has expanded testing of certain Mexican produce and has put a dozen Mexican growers or distributors on its "import alert" list for tougher border screening.
