MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Sbarro is running a Pepsi and pop-music promotion at its 900 U.S. outlets.
According to Newsday, the chain is packaging mini-CDs in the lids of its $1.99, 32-ounce soft drinks. The promo is the first-ever national giveaway for the chain, though it has done other regional giveaway promotions.
Targeted toward teens, the promotion began Aug. 4 and runs through Oct. 31. Among the groups featured on the disc are Lifehouse, Boomkat, 40 Foot Echo and Cooler Kids.
