Serial pizza delivery robber on the prowl in Canton

Canton Repository: CANTON, Ohio — A warrant has been issued for a man who police believe has been robbing pizza delivery drivers.

Timothy Schaffner, 19, is wanted on an aggravated robbery charge in connection with the Sept. 18 robbery of a pizza delivery driver on Logan Avenue NW, said Sgt. Jack Angelo of the Police Department's detective bureau.

Detectives believe he may be involved in the recent robberies of other pizza delivery drivers.

Reports said Schaffner ordered a pizza under a false name and had it delivered to an apartment building, but was waiting outside to rob the driver.
