Sir Pizza continues Southern Florida expansion

Residents of South Dade are now able to enjoy the signatures of Sir Pizza after the latest location opened Thursday.

The restaurant is owned by Antonio Diaz, who is also the owner of the Pinecrest and Sunset Sir Pizza locations.

Sir Pizza has been offering pizzas, subs, salads, lasagna, chicken wings and desserts since 1957.

The Palmetto Bay opening is part of the expansion that will result in 20 Sir Pizza restaurants throughout Miami-Dade and Broward by late 2011. Future locations are planned for Aventura, Hialeah, Homestead, Midtown, North Miami Beach, Plantation, South Beach, Village Green, Westchester and Weston.
