Straw Hat Pizza launches YouTube contest

SAN RAMON, Calif. — Aspiring filmmakers can win free pizza for a year and a Grand Prize Deluxe Sports package including a hosted suite for 12 people at a Giants/Dodgers game, a surfboard and skateboard in a new "How Pizza Fuels Your Sport" YouTube Contest, sponsored by Straw Hat Pizza. The contest begins May 15, 2008, and all videos must be posted by 11:59 pm PDT by July 1.
Video artists simply need to create a 30-second clip that answers the question "How does pizza fuel your sport" and post the video on YouTube. A panel of judges will take the YouTube viewer ratings into account to select semifinalists and an overall winner, who will receive the Deluxe Sports Package Grand Prize.

The Grand Prize Sports package will include:
- A hosted suite for 12 people, donated by Coca Cola, at the Sept. 26 Giants/Dodgers game
- One AWOL Surfboard
- One Titan Skateboard
- One Straw Hat Pizza Skateboard, courtesy of Titan Skateboards
The winner will be announced August 15 onstrawhatpizza.com.
