Fort Worth News: FORT WORTH, Texas — Police are investigating the weekend robberies of two pizza restaurants in which a pair of robbers forced employees to the floor at gunpoint and the operations' security tapes were stolen.
The first occurred about 10:15 p.m. Saturday at the Double Dave's Pizzaworks at 5800 Camp Bowie Blvd.
Employees at a DoubleDave's Pizzaworks told police that on the night of Sept. 25, two men entered the store, and one picked up a menu and began looking at it while easing his way around the counter. The man then pulled a handgun, pointed it to the back of an employee's head and demanded money from the register, while the second man escorted another employee to the manager's office, where he pulled a gun and ordered her to open the safe.
