Timber Pizza Co. is expanding its franchise footprint in the second half of 2026, preparing to enter the Georgia market for the first time with planned locations in Alpharetta and Cumming, according to a press release.

Both Georgia restaurants are expected to open by late 2026 or early 2027. The company is also considering additional territories across the greater Atlanta area.

The neighborhood-oriented pizza brand is further growing its Mid-Atlantic presence. Following demand generated by the company's mobile oven, a storefront in Richmond, Virginia, is slated to open in the fall of 2026. Another location in Alexandria, Virginia, is in lease negotiations and targeting an opening in the second quarter of 2027.

These join established locations in McLean, Virginia, and Annapolis, Maryland, that opened in 2024. The company also noted active development deals across Northern Virginia, Charlottesville and the Hampton Roads region.

"It's been a great first half of the year for our growth and our continued focus on supporting franchisees. We're thrilled with the progress and consistency across the system, and we're excited for what the rest of the year will bring," Chris Brady, co-founder of Timber Pizza Co., said in the release. "Whether it's a new market or a city we've served for years, people want quality, community, and a place that feels like home. That's the foundation we're building on as we continue to scale."

During the first half of 2026, the company focused on operational improvements, specifically inventory management, to help franchisees manage costs of goods sold and labor. The brand was also named to Pizza Marketplace's 2026 Top 100 Movers & Shakers list.

Later this year, Timber Pizza plans to roll out a new loyalty program and introduce improvements to streamline the customer ordering experience across all locations.

"Regulars are coming back more often, and guest counts keep climbing as we stay focused on delivering a premium product at an approachable price and a warm, community-driven experience," Luke Watson, CEO of Timber Pizza, said in the release. "As we head into the end of the year, we're committed to keeping that momentum going and opening more shops that carry the same welcoming, wood-fired charm that has made our D.C. locations true neighborhood staples."
