Toast POS introduces inventory solution

Toast Restaurant POS has released Inventory, a platform that manages inventory and automatically generates a variance report for restaurateurs.

The technology tracks sales data as well as low-performing restaurant items in order to help operators be more cost-effective.

"We use the Toast Inventory module to generate orders, track variances, and to calculate the total value of our inventory at the end of each week," said Sonya Livshits, accountant for Ole Restaurant, in a release.
