DARBY BOROUGH, Pa.—Police are looking for a gunman who shot and robbed employees of a pizza shop on June 16.
According to the Delco Times, the mother and brother of the owner of the Main Street Pizza shop were shot during a 9:30 p.m. holdup. Both victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The report said a gunman walked into the pizzeria and forced the owner's brother and mother to the floor at gunpoint. He fired one shot, which passed through the man's leg, ricocheted off the floor and struck the woman in the leg.
Also this week in Upper Darby, a 17-year-old man was charged with a series of robberies of foodservice delivery drivers.
The Delco Times reported that Montez Antwon Richardson placed multiple bogus food orders to lure delivery drivers to area residences. There he robbed each at gunpoint. In some of the incidents, which occurred over the last several months, Richardson fled in the drivers' still-running vehicles.
Richardson was unable to post the $100,000 bail set in his arraignment.
