Uncle Maddio’s extends Alabama presence

July 14, 2014

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint will open its 23rd unit this week, located in Daphne, Ala. The new unit marks the fourth of 24 total units the brand plans to open this year, according to a news release.

To mark the grand opening, Uncle Maddio’s will give away free, 9-inch, three-topping pizzas to customers in line beginning at 11 a.m. July 19. One customer will win free pizza for a year.

The new Daphne restaurant is franchised by partners Lisa and Don Taylor. The team has also executed exclusive development and franchise agreements to bring Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joints to Mobile and Baldwin Counties in Alabama. Initial plans call for five locations throughout the next several years. Their second location, set to open in Q4, will be the first for Mobile County, Ala.

"We look forward to introducing Uncle Maddio’s to Daphne and Mobile. Uncle Maddio’s offers a completely new way to dine together with family and friends. Meat lovers and vegans co-exist with the limitless options for personalized pizzas, Panini and salads, served quickly, affordably and deliciously. We plan to be as aggressive as possible with our openings, as we continue to actively seek the best real estate in the county for our upcoming, new locations," Don Taylor said in the release.
