Vocelli Pizza launches Detroit-style pizza

Vocelli Pizza is expanding its menu with the nationwide launch of a Detroit-style pan pizza and a 1.5-pound brownie on Aug. 31, according to a press release.

The Detroit-style pan pizza is baked in garlic butter and priced at $14.99. Customers can add a blend of Parmesan, Asiago and Romano cheeses to the bottom of the crust for an additional $3.

Alongside the pizza, the company is introducing an 8-by-8-inch brownie topped with chocolate chunks and drizzled with chocolate fudge, which it notes is one of the largest in the quick-service restaurant industry.

"Our Detroit Style Pan Pizza is a cheese lover's dream," Toni Bianco, CEO of Vocelli Pizza, said in the release. "We know consumers are looking for value right now, and we wanted to create products that deliver on both indulgence and shareability. These new offerings give families and groups something exciting to bring to the table."

Vocelli Pizza is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has more than 80 locations.
