Will Punch Pizza's surcharge strategy work?

Popular Neapolitan pizza chain Punch Pizza has added a small surcharge to salads containing pine nuts. Punch has signs disclaiming the price raise as a temporary measure to counter pine nut prices that have tripled, according to TwinCities.com.
The measure tests what many consultants say is the right way to offset temporary costs -- with honesty. But it remains to be seen how the strategy will work.
