World Pizza Champions story debuts in bookstores

SAN FRANCISCO -- The story of Tony Gemignani, eight-time world pizza-tossing champion, and the World Pizza Champions, has been documented in the children's book "Tony and the Pizza Champions," written by Gemignani and published by Chronicle Books.
Gemignani, the 2007 World Champion Neapolitan pizza chef, is the co-owner of Pyzano's Pizzeria in Castro Valley, Calif. His team has won more world titles than any other in history.
"Tony and the Pizza Champions" is illustrated by Matthew Trueman. The book also includes photos of the World Pizza Champions team and Gemignani's own pizza recipes.
