East Coast party-by-the-beach mecca, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is home to a new Hungry Howie’s Pizza as of May 3. The chain will kick off the opening with a $6.99 deal for a large one-topping pizza, as well as donating a percentage of opening day sales to the local Humane Society and nearby middle school, according to a news release.
Franchisee Brian Edelen now has five Myrtle Beach locations, including this newest one on River Oaks Drive in the Palmetto state's resort city.
"When I joined the Hungry Howie's family right out of high school, I just knew this was a business I wanted to be involved with long term," Edelen said in a news release. "I found my home with Hungry Howie's and I look forward to continuing to introduce the tasty flavored crust pizza and welcoming atmosphere that I fell in love with in 1993 with residents of Myrtle Beach."
The 44-year-old chain has almost 600 U.S. locations in 21 states and is known for its flavored crusts.
