800 Degrees Pizzeria puts former Focus Brands exec in CMO seat

Los Angeles-based 800 Degrees Pizzeria has named Thomas Bartsch as its chief marketing officer. Bartsch most recently served as CMO and global marketing vice president for an unidentified Focus Brands fast casual start-up, according to a company press release. 

He has also held roles at MidiCi, DineEquity, Dunkin' Brands, Burger King Corporation and Nestle. 

"As the concept continues to grow and progress we will lean on his leadership skills and vast knowledge in brand strategy and development, especially as it pertains to multi-unit restaurant concepts," 800 Degrees Pizzeria CEO Tommy Lee, said in the release. "We are confident that Thomas' expertise will complement and elevate the executive team at 800 Degrees."

800 Degrees Pizza currently operates locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Dubai and Doha, Qatar.
