Boston's Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar said it will re-open locations in West Fargo, North Dakota along with Great Falls, Montana and Irving, Texas for in-restaurant dining this week, under strict health and safety guidelines. The re-openings sync with executive orders in those states and are part of the brand's phased reopening process, a news release said.
Boston's leadership acknowledged that the brand's guests will have "elevated expectations" when it comes to cleanliness, sanitation and food handling, thus the three cities' restaurants will adhere to these measures:
"This has been an incredibly difficult time, but as our restaurants begin to reopen in communities across the country, we will continue to focus on what we can control -- providing employees and guests piece of mind that we are going above and beyond to make sure their health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do," said Jeff Melnick, president of Boston's, in the release. "While our restaurants have developed a community reputation based on food quality, service and atmosphere; going forward the most important reputation currency will be trust. This trust will be earned through safeguards that are seen and felt by employees and guests alike."
Boston's previously offered online ordering, pickup to-go and free third-party delivery with DoorDash, delivered in tamper-resistant packaging, in the stay-at-home phase of the pandemic in those three states. The Dallas-based chain has 20 U.S. locations and 400 restaurants of its sister brand, Boston Pizza, in Canada.
