Boston's Pizza Restaurant powers up small bites for big football action

Football and pizza season is about to be upon us and brands, including Boston's Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar, are gearing up with new menu items that cater to the touchdown crowd. In this brand's case, that means a new appetizer lineup that starts today.

These new "good-things-in-small-packages" offerings join with the brand's current football-centered items like the Pizza Flight, Boston's Nachos and Bacon-wrapped Steak Skewers to give the field-focused fan sustenance for the next play.

Included in the appetizer line-up are:

  • Risotto Balls: Lightly fried, breadcrumb-coated Parmesan risotto balls with Pomodoro sauce.
  • Cactus Cut Potatoes: Thin-sliced, spicy potatoes with cactus dip.
  • Thai Bites: Asian-glazed breaded fried shrimp with Asian noodles, carrots, green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Buffalo Cauliflower: Bleu cheese and scallion-topped lightly batter-fried cauliflower on cabbage with bleu cheese dressing.

"Just like our shareable gourmet pizzas, we are happy to continue serving large groups of guests with our new range of unique and delicious shareable appetizers," Boston's Senior Director of Marketing Katie Borger said in the release."These new offerings are just the beginning as we continue to elevate our brand and offer our guests a great dining experience all around."

The Dallas-based brand has 23 locations in 16 states. Sister brand, Boston Pizza, has more than 400 locations throughout Canada.
