Little Caesars adds garlic twist to $6.99 pepperoni pizza

Little Caesars is putting a garlic-forward spin on a classic with the launch of its limited-time Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni pizza.

Available through Dec. 27, for $6.99, the large round pizza features cheesy garlic white sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and garlic herb seasoning, finished with a toasted garlic Parmesan and Asiago crust, according to a press release.

The pizza will be offered at participating locations as a Hot-N-Ready item from 4 to 8 p.m. local time, as well as through the Little Caesars app and website. Customers also can order additional Cheesy Garlic varieties online, including cheese, bacon and ham, and mushroom and onion options.

"Pepperoni pizza will always be a favorite, but our guests are also looking for new flavors and more variety," Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, said in the release. "Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni gives them the best of both worlds. It starts with the familiar pizza they already love and adds a craveable garlic twist, all at the outstanding value they expect from Little Caesars."

The launch will be supported by a national advertising campaign featuring San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, with advertising beginning Nov. 9.
