Pizza manager murdered during bogus delivery

Bay City News Service: Vallejo, Calif., police said a 19-year-old man was delivering pizza when he was fatally shot on the night of Oct. 25.

Harvinder Kumar died at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds, Lt. Lori Lee said. Four or five suspects were seen running down a hill toward a residential street after shots were heard in the southeast part of the city, Lee said.

Diana Clough, day manager at the Round Table Pizza on Springs Road where Kumar worked as a night manager, said Kumar volunteered to deliver three extra-large pizzas on Monday night because deliver orders were backing up.
