United Press International: ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland — Canadian police say drug addicts in Newfoundland are apparently supporting their habit by stealing and reselling cheese.
Police Sgt. June Layden in St. John's told the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. Thursday of one incident in which a man threatened to stab people with a hypodermic needle in a grocery store parking lot this week.
When arrested, he had several blocks of stolen cheese in his possession, she said.
