In less than three minutes, time-strapped operators can sample tasty tidbits about the latest trends, recipes, operations and marketing ideas from the Burke team.
"With our research and development staff, marketing team and sales force working daily to keep up with the latest news and trends in our industry, we amass a large amount of valuable information," said Liz Hertz, marketing director, Burke Corporation. "We're pleased to share these insights with operators, along with pictures, videos or links to more information on the subject."
Delivered hot and fresh to in-boxes and readers, "Out of the Oven" features short, easy-to-digest information and the meatiest ideas. Interested operators can go to the site to sign up for updates via RSS feed or e-mail.
With pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube, in addition to the "Out of the Oven" blog, Burke is hoping to promote communication within the industry through social media, and encourages operators to also take advantage of these opportunities.
"We're marketing our blog posts as ‘fully cooked conversations' to foster the interactive nature of social media," Hertz said. "From user polls to reader comments, we hope our posts ignite meaningful exchanges among industry professionals who can share ideas that will help others with their business and provide Burke input on our fully cooked meats."
