July 22, 2013

California Pizza Kitchen has signed a multiyear product and marketing agreement with The Coca-Cola Company. The agreement calls for CPK to serve Coke products in its 202 restaurants across the U.S.

"As we continue to unveil the next chapter of California Pizza Kitchen, this partnership is representative of where we are headed as a brand and a company," said G.J. Hart, CEO of California Pizza Kitchen. "We have listened closely to feedback from our guests, who have told us they want to be able to enjoy a refreshing Coca-Cola beverage alongside their favorite new hand-tossed pizzas, entrees and appetizers."

All CPK locations will begin serving Coca-Cola products by Aug. 31. In addition to Coca- Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Sprite, Coca-Cola will provide California Pizza Kitchen locations with variety of juices, enhanced waters and energy drinks. The agreement also includes the development of various marketing and promotional programs each year between the brands.

We are pleased to have been chosen to provide California Pizza Kitchen's guests with a high quality beverage program and look forward to leveraging our joint marketing capabilities for future promotions to drive beverage growth at all restaurant locations," said Dan Manning, zone vice president at Coca-Cola.
