This Tuesday, Jan. 22, is the beginning of weekly Rise of the Turtles Tuesdays at Cicis. The buffet pizza brand is partnering with Nickelodeon's Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to help kids transform themselves at least 52 times a year into one of the Turtles, a news release said.
The weekly kid-centric festivities feature turtle-tuned-in food like turtle-bite-sized Alfredo and cheese pizzas and salads for 99 cents with the purchase of at least one adult buffet and large drink. The chain's locations nationwide will also give away free Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles masks, each portraying either Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo or Raphael in all their glory to all youngsters in attendance Tuesdays from 4 p.m. through closing until March 12.
The brand is also releasing the Pizza Power digital game which Tuesday customers will get a code to access, play like a Turtle and unlock a new villain each week. Customers who play the game pick their turtle and battle the bad guys, all to help recover the stolen pizza toppings.
"Through the Rise of the Turtles Tuesdays at Cicis program we are bringing family fun and excitement to turn an ordinary day into the best night of the week, all at a great value," Cicis CMO Billie Jo Waara said in the release.
