Domino’s UK focuses on jobs

Piggybacking on recent sales success, Domino’s Pizza U.K. announced that it anticipates the creation of 1,700 new jobs in 2011.

According to The Grapevine Magazine, these jobs will come with the planned opening of 55 new stores throughout the country this year, each averaging 25 to 30 employees.

With 57 new units, Domino’s also created 1,700 new jobs in 2010. Not one restaurant was closed last year.

At the end of 2010, the chain’s presence extended to 665 units in the U.K.

Domino’s marked its 25th anniversary in the United Kingdom in 2010.
