Fresh Brothers brings ‘whiteout’ to Southern Cal

Southern California pizza brand Fresh Brothers is blanketing its patrons with snowy white for the holidays with the debut of a White Pizza this week. The pie features ricotta, Romano, crushed garlic and mozzarella on a crust drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and is available at the chain’s 18 locations through New Year's Day, a news release said. 

"We blend part-skim ricotta and whole-milk ricotta — just the right combination with all-natural mozzarella and Romano — on pizza dough that we make from scratch everyday," Fresh Brothers Executive Chef Scott Goldberg said in the release.

The LTO can be customized with thin, skinny, deep-dish or gluten-free crust and toppings galore. To finish the meal, the chain offers a choice cinnamon-sugared, icing-drizzled sweet knots or gluten-free vegan chocolate brownies.

The healthful brand claims that it never fries anything and prepares all its food in a nut-free environment.
