Grimaldi's Pizzeria opens 1st restaurant in Dubai

Grimaldi's Pizzeria has opened its first location in Dubai alongside its franchisee Tablez Food Company. It's the second location in the United Arab Emirates and is situated on the first floor of the Silicon Central Mall, according to a press release.
Highlights from Grimaldi's Dubai menu include starters and small bites like the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, delicately sliced Wagyu beef with fennel, rocca leaves, truffle oil, shaved truffle, saffron aioli, black garlic, and lemon zest, finished with balsamic reduction, along with soup and salads like the Beef Tortellini Al Pomodoro and Pepperoni and Artichoke Salad. Pizza standouts include the Double Pepperoni and Burrata and the Beef Truffle with Wagyu, fresh mozzarella cheese, portobello mushrooms, black truffle, parmesan shavings, basil leaves, and truffle oil, topped with truffle porcini cream.
Grimaldi's Dubai also offers numerous pastas and entrées like the Alfredo Tortellini and Chicken ala Parmigiana.
"Opening in Dubai is a natural yet exciting next step in Grimaldi's international growth," Joseph Ciolli, Grimaldi's Pizzeria CEO said in the press release. "Customers in Dubai will now get to experience our Brooklyn-style coal fired, brick-oven pizza, and we are thrilled to join the vibrant culinary scene."
Grimaldi's Pizzeria serves traditional coal-fired, brick-oven pizza using pizza-making traditions originating in Brooklyn over 100 years ago.
