Fast food study reveals where Americans spend most money

Taco Bell came out most affordable when compared to Chipotle and Papa John's.

Recently Business Insider studied how much Americans typically spend on average at three popular restaurants — Taco Bell, Chipotle and Papa John's, reported WTHR.com.

Taco Bell was the cheapest, with Americans spending on average $5.13 there. according to the article.

Chipotle was one of the most expensive places to eat on the list. It’s check averaged about $11 per person.

Papa John’s came in with an average cost of $7.45 to the consumer, the article stated.
