Little Caesar's LTO feeds family for a fiver

Little Caesars comes out of the gate swinging in 2017, with two offerings giving customers cash back along with a little something sweet to start 2017. The Detroit-based QSR said in a news release that it is introducing a value-driven, sharable-sized menu under the heading of "5 Items at $5 Each."

Customers who lay down a Lincoln between 4 and 8 p.m., for a limited time, can take home one of the following: Hot-n-Ready classic, Caesar wings, four sodas or a family-sized helping of bacon cheddar-loaded Crazy Bites or cinnamon-loaded Crazy Bites. Those spicy, sweet cinnamon treats, by the way, are the chain's first dessert offering, featuring cinnamon and sugar with cream cheese icing.

"When we were putting together our value menu we thought, 'what's a family meal without dessert?' " Little Caesars Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Edward Gleich, said in a news release. "The new Cinnamon Loaded Crazy Bites are just like a big plate of everyone's favorite part of a cinnamon roll – that warm, gooey center. I think it's the perfect ending to a family pizza night."

The news release said the LTO has no minimum, no maximum and no need to order ahead.
