MidiCi 1st tenant in new Sarasota luxury development

MidiCi Neapolitan Restaurant has been announced as the first tenant in Sarasota, Florida's The Promenade, a news release said. 

The Neapolitan-style pizza brand is based in California with 30 locations open and 70 in development. In Florida, MidiCi has seven locations operating and seven  in development. 

The Sarasota location will span 3,881 square feet at the Promenade, which opens next year on State Street at the base of the Mark Sarasota. The Promenade is planned as a casual outdoor experience venue amid surrounding modern architecture and the downtown streetscape, according to the release.

Casto Southeast Realty Services Partner Brett Hutchens said MidiCi fits the profile of the types of retail outlets that the space demands. 

"We're committed to carefully selecting a collection of dining and shopping experiences that reflect both the sophistication and energy of the downtown district and the landmark lifestyle of The Mark Sarasota," he said in the release. 

The Mark features one- to three-bedroom residences that start in the mid-$700,000-range. 

"Our goal for The Mark is to create the most comprehensive luxury lifestyle offering in downtown Sarasota," The Mark developer, Kolter Urban President Bob Vail said in the release. 

The retail area will include a curated group of boutique retailers and restaurants, Vail said.
