North Carolina Domino's franchisees offer medication delivery for residents

Domino's franchisees in Wilmington, N.C., are offering prescription medication delivery along with pizza delivery. According to KPHO, the added service is for residents who are stuck at home from the winter weather.

Gene Galindo, director of Operations for Wilmington Domino's franchises, told the publication that the company decided to offer this special deal to "help out customers who couldn't leave their homes to pick up food or medication."

To take advantage of the service, customers have to call ahead to their pharmacy, pre-pay for their prescriptions, and alert the pharmacists that a delivery driver will be picking up the order.
