Papa John’s eyes U.K. growth

Papa John's Pizza is targeting the northwest region of the United Kingdom to maintain its 50 percent store growth momentum in the country within the past three years.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Papa John's has more than 150 locations in the United Kingdom and 21 successive quarters of positive sales. To continue this upward trend, the company is recruiting franchisees specifically in the Manchester area.

Papa John's has boosted its marketing spending in the U.K. within the past year and was also the first company to introduce mobile ordering to the country.

Papa John's has 3,500 stores in 29 countries.
