Louisville, Ky.-based Papa John's Pizza hit the 2 million fan mark on its Facebook page this week. To celebrate, the company is giving away a free 2-liter of Pepsi Max to 250,000 fans who order $10 worth of food online.
The limited-time promotion includes a special code for redemption for fans who order online. The offer is valid through Feb. 3.
Papa John's, which switched from Coca-Cola to Pepsi in November, announced the giveaway Thursday. Its Facebook page now has more than 2,046,000 fans.
Chevy Game Time
Also, today, the company announced its partnership with Chevy for a Super Bowl promotion.
During the game, Feb. 5 in Indianapolis, fans who download the Chevy Game Time app and play the trivia skills game will earn a chance to win one of 20 Chevys and thousands of other prizes from partners such as Sirius XM, Bridgestone, Motorola and NFLShop.com.
The app includes trivia about the big game, up-to-date stats and exclusive content.
One of the prizes is the new Chevy Camaro, the most recent update of the classic car "Papa" John Schnatter sold 27 years ago to start the Papa John's company. Additionally, 5,000 free one-topping pizzas will be available to win.
The company also is running a promotion that offers the chance for fans to win free pizzas and 2-liters of Pepsi MAX if they correctly guess heads or tails for the Super Bowl coin toss. Papa John's is the Official Pizza of Super Bowl XLVI.
