Papa John's Pizza signs title sponsorship of Papajohns.com Bowl

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papajohns.com, the online ordering site of Papa John's Pizza, signed a multiyear agreement as the title sponsor of the inaugural Papajohns.com Bowl to be played Dec. 23 in Birmingham, Ala.

 

According to a news release, the Papajohns.com Bowl will be played at Birmingham's Legion Field and will be televised by ESPN2 at noon Central Standard Time. The annual game will match a team from Conference USA against a bowl-eligible team from the Big East Conference. Tickets for the game will be sold through its Web site and by phone.
