Papa John's Schnatter to lead SBA panel

John Schnatter, Papa John's founder, chairman and CEO, will lead a panel on May 15 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for the Washington, D.C., leg of National Small Business Week hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

According to a news release, Schnatter will discuss entrepreneurship, running a business in a competitive marketplace and the challenges of starting and growing a business.

In 1984, Schnatter opened his first Papa John's restaurant. The company now has more than 4,400 restaurants in all 50 states and 35 countries.

The Washington, D.C., event scheduled for May 15 and 16 will also feature entrepreneurship workshops, panel discussions, award ceremonies and business matchmaking sessions for small businesses to market their goods and services to federal agencies and prime contractors, the release said.
