Pie Five opens in Johnson City

Johnson City, Tennessee, is Pie Five's newest location, according to a company press release. The restaurant will open at 11 a.m., Friday at 2059 Hamilton Place Dr., near Academy Sports + Outdoors and Courtyard Inn.

"We received such a warm welcome when we opened our Kingsport location last year and I've been counting down the days to when we could open a Pie Five restaurant in Johnson City," Pie Five Franchisee, Kurt Guttshall, said in the report. "We know the local residents will love our incredible quick-cooking pizzas, fresh ingredients and friendly staff."

As part of the store opening celebration, Pie Five pledged support to the local Tennessee community and Make-A-Wish and on July 14 will host an event attended by local officials as well as fire and police representatives.
