Pieology says the April debut of its new "PieRise" thick-crust not only works great as a delivery or takeout option but is also the first of its kind in the DIY pizza market, according to a news release.
"We've been testing the new crust in select markets across the country and it has been welcomed with rave reviews," Pieology founder and CEO Carl Chang said in a news release. "PieRise thick crust is an extension of our promise to deliver creative and delicious personally-inspired pizzas."
The thick-crust offering will begin landing in customers' mouths in early April with full national distribution by month's end. It's the fourth crust variation offered by the chain and joins house-made original, house-made whole wheat and gluten-free.
"Now, more than ever before, Pieology truly has a pizza option for everyone and there is still more to come," Pieology Chef Scott Weaver said in a news release. "It's an exciting time to be a part of the Pieology team and I can't wait to share more of our new developments with our guests soon."
