Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza has opened a location in Middleton, Florida, debuting a custom-built design intended to modernize the brand's dining experience, according to a press release.
The restaurant represents a new evolution for the Florida-based chain, featuring a layout that specifically caters to both traditional dine-in customers and the increasing demand for off-premise meals. The Middleton site includes the company's largest Express To-Go area to date, designed to manage high-volume takeout and online orders independently from the main dining room.
The interior features a spacious communal dining area and a wine display, while an indoor-outdoor bar connects the inside seating to an open-air patio.
"From the layout to the flow of the space, every detail at Middleton was built with connection in mind," Joel Mills, co-founder of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, said in the release. "It's still the same irresistible Italian our guests know and love, now served in a space that invites people to linger, celebrate, and feel right at home."
Despite the architectural updates, the menu continues to focus on the brand's signature granite stone-fired pizzas, scratch-made sauces and handcrafted pastas. The company remains the only Italian restaurant in Florida dedicated to the granite stone-fired method, a practice it has maintained for nearly 20 years.
Founded in Gainesville in 2009 by Mike Akey, Joel Mills and Jerry Roberts, Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza has expanded to nearly 16 locations across the state.
