Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza expands in Florida, announces initiatives

Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza is continuing its Florida expansion while introducing new menu innovations and community initiatives. The Gainesville-based brand will open its newest restaurant in Middleton, Florida, Oct. 12, the company announced in a news release.

The restaurant will feature its latest restaurant design, dine-in seating, online ordering, carryout and catering services. To celebrate, the first 250 guests will receive scratch-off cards offering prizes, including free pizza for a year.

The company also is celebrating pepperoni with PeppFest, a limited-time promotion running through December. Featuring several varieties of pepperoni, the menu includes Quadruple Pepperoni Pizza, Pepperoni Pockets, Pepperoni Quesadillas, Tortellini Pepperoni Salad and Pepperoni Cheesy Bread, along with a Hot Honey Pepperoni Margarita.

"We started asking ourselves a simple question: What if we leaned all the way into the thing pizza lovers crave most?" Joel Mills, co-owner of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, said in a press release. "The result was PeppFest, a celebration of creativity, flavor, and having a little fun with one of the most iconic ingredients in pizza."

Beyond menu innovation and expansion, Piesanos partnered with Seacoast Bank in October to support the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. Guests could round up purchases, make donations online or participate in Tuesday Give-Back Days, when 10% of qualifying checks were donated to the organization. The Middleton opening also includes a partnership with Villagers for Veterans, allowing online customers to round up purchases to support veterans and their families.

Founded in 2009, Piesanos continues to build its presence across Florida through restaurant growth, limited-time menu offerings and community-focused partnerships.
