Pizza Hut India adds Four Season Wines to the menu

December 8, 2010

Pizza Hut India, which named the "Most Trusted Brand" in the country,  has introduced Four Seasons Wines to its menu.

According to India Info Online, the wines are produced at UB Group’s winery in Baramati, India, and are made from French grapes selected from vineyards in the Sahyadri Valley.

The wines will be available at select restaurants in the Bangalore market, with plans to expand to other major cities, as well. The addition of wine complements Pizza Hut India’s Italian-inspired cuisine, which includes Tuscani pastas, pizzas and appetizers.

Wines will be served both by the bottle and by the glass. The varietals are fruity with a good balance and include Blush Rose, Chenin Blanc and Shiraz. Also, the premium range of the Four Seasons Barrique Reserve Collection is available in limited batches in Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

From the story:

“As a brand, Pizza Hut is transitioning and repositioning itself from a Quick Service restaurant into the Affordable Casual Dining restaurant space. We have been undertaking many initiatives such as expanding our menu, enhancing the ambience of our restaurants, enhancing the service and changing our brand communication,” said Sandeep Kataria, chief marketing officer, Yum! Restaurants India.
