Pizza Inn franchisee to expand Express footprint

Pizza Inn Holdings Inc. announced it has awarded 10 new franchise units to Flash Market Inc. to expand Pizza Inn Express restaurants in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.

"Our franchise partners have always been the lifeblood of our company, and Flash Market has been an outstanding partner with us for the past four years," said Madison Jobe, chief development officer for Pizza Inn. "Flash Market is committed to the continued growth of the Pizza Inn brand, and they share our organization-wide dedication to providing the best quality, service and value."

Flash Market owns and operates 80 convenience-store locations across the Southeast, with 35 different restaurant concepts represented. The company currently operates a Pizza Inn restaurant in Lebanon, Tenn., Cave City, Ark., Saraland, Ala., and two units in Marion, Ark. The 10 new Pizza Inn units will be integrated into the company's existing locations.

"The company's management team is top notch, the brand is well-known and its focus on serving-up quality food at an excellent value is exactly what today's customers are looking for."

Flash Market's first new Pizza Inn Express restaurant is projected to open in the fall.
