Rosco's Pizza in Union, Michigan, has launched a "Meal Wall" to help feed people in need, according to an article in WSBT news.

The idea was launched after a phone call from a hungry customer prompted the restaurant to rethink how it could support its community. Manager Shanna Crice initially told the caller the restaurant had no leftover pizza, but the conversation stayed with her for the next several days. After Crice shared the experience on Facebook, the post went viral, attracting donations and suggestions from around the world.

The Meal Wall allows customers to purchase $10 meal tickets that are displayed on the wall for people in need to redeem. Each ticket features a heart-shaped sticker identifying its donor and contributions have come from across the United States, as well as Italy and Spain. To date, Crice told the news outlet 30 coupons have been redeemed.
