Snappy Tomato Pizza puts pies on summer road trip

Northern Kentucky-based Snappy Tomato Pizza is driving home it's on-the-go image through a summer promotion that gives guests a free Family Fun Guide featuring 37 attractions in and around its stores in Ohio,Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee, according to a news release. 

The 16-page guide comes in both hard copy and digital formats and features an array of offbeat and well-known attractions everywhere from the busier Knoxville, Tennessee to the time-warp river town of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.  

"We wanted to show our commitment to the communities that have a Snappy Tomato Pizza location and encourage travel for those without a store, to experience the Snappy Tomato Pizza difference," Snappy Tomato Pizza Marketing Director Andy Ritter, said in the release. 

The guide takes travelers on five highlighted day trips that the brand said show the beauty of the areas around its 47 Snappy Tomato pizza stores, including detailed maps, each emblazoned with the locations of the pizza chain, along with the sites to see. The five trips also feature an equal number of pizza combos, including: 

• Signature Ranch Pizza for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky sites. 
• The Junior Beast pizza for Knoxville, Tennessee stops. 
• Snapperoni Pizza for Adams County, Ohio.
• Loaded Potato Pizza for Columbus, Indiana. 
• Snappy Veggie Pizza for Rising Sun, Indiana. 

The free digital version found on the chain's website is mobile-optimized with active phone numbers and website links to each of the included attractions. Snappy Tomato Pizza plans to distribute 50,000 Family Fun Guides across its 47 store locations, the 37 featured attractions and via radio partnerships in those areas, where the chain is also airing 30-second spots from now through Aug. 21. 

The 41-year-old brand has locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and New Mexico.
