SpeedLine intros online ordering service for restaurants

SpeedLine, a pizza and delivery point of sale company, has launched its SpeedDine online ordering service with its POS system. This service is built on a cloud platform powered by Amazon Web Services to provide live price updates and fast ordering, according to a press release.

SpeedDine guides customers through the order and checkout process, and offers package deals. Customers do not need to create an account, and they can access the service through computer, tablet, phone or Android and iPhone app.

"Restaurant customers no longer have the patience for a slow or confusing site, especially on a mobile device," John de Wolde, SpeedLine CEO and president, said in the release. "SpeedDine delivers a mobile experience that meets their demands for convenience and service."

Customers can use SpeedDine alongside third-part mobile apps and aggregators. SpeedLine's POS system will continue to support other third-part online ordering services in addition to SpeedDine.
