The Pittsburgh Steelers and Pizza Hut are pairing up as part of the Yum Brands chain's recently inked status as the official pizza of the NFL earlier this year, a news release said.
"Few franchises in sports are as revered as the Pittsburgh Steelers, so it is with great pride that we enter into a partnership with one of the most iconic teams in the NFL," Pizza Hut CMO Zipporah Allen, said in the release. "We look forward to the opportunity of offering fans of the Steel Curtain exclusive deals, promotions and entertainment throughout the season."
Pizza Hut will get Steelers fans ready for game day with social and digital content across social media channels to further support the partnership during the 2018 NFL season. Wide receivers Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster will be featured in various forms of content throughout the season.
"We are proud to work with Pizza Hut as our new pizza partner, and we're excited to be part of their jump into the NFL," Steelers Vice President of Marketing and Sales Ryan Huzjak, said in the release. "Pizza Hut's dedication to customer service will be great for our fans and customers in Western Pennsylvania. We can't wait to see what they have in store for AB and JuJu, and we're sure Steelers Nation will love it, too."
